The Microenterprise Organization of Ohio (MOO) was formerly known as the Ohio Microenterprise Network. MOO is built on the strengths of the microenterprise field in Ohio, namely a large number of successful programs, strong state support and a wide variety of program designs. Microenterprise Organization of Ohio's goal is to present a cohesive and uniform message to legislators, funders and other and to empower microenterprise practitioners to deliver this message.

Designed to be practitioner driven, the Microenterprise Organization of Ohio is composed of organizations and individuals from all areas of the field in Ohio. Its mission is to:
• provide a practitioner support network;
• facilitate resource sharing among microenterprise programs;
• provide for the free exchange of best practices;
• develop program standards in line with those being developed on the national level; and
• conduct advocacy on behalf of Ohio's microenterprise programs.
